Above & Beyond Salon

Have always received excellent service! LOVE the laid back atmosphere. My hair is always 🔥 thanks to Erica and there is never a lack of entertainment. Unlike some uptight salons, the stylists here truly seem to enjoy their job. There is a variety of conversations going on at all times and with a wide range of stylists comes a wide range of personalities so those that are easily offended may wanna move on to one of those more boring salons. I personally love that the stylists can be themselves and have fun while making their clients gorgeous ☺️

I wanted to share my experience for those considering this salon. While the stylists may have established relationships with regular clients who are comfortable with the atmosphere, I personally found the environment extremely unprofessional. There was frequent vulgar language, sexual innuendo, and loud, obnoxious behavior throughout my visit. At times, the staff were twerking and engaging in conversations and conduct that felt inappropriate for a public business setting. What concerned me most was the lack of consideration for the wide range of clients present, including elderly patrons and children. I believe professionalism and awareness of the clientele are important in any salon environment. The quality of a salon experience is not just about hair services but also about the atmosphere and level of professionalism. Unfortunately, this environment was not one I felt comfortable in or would choose to return to.

I was in dire need of a perm, and I came across this salon while searching on my phone . I decided to call and see what happens. They were able to get me in fairly quickly! Rachelle rolled mi perm. She was AWESOME!!!!! I got the best perm I have had since I moved up here with my husband. I have found my new favorite salon! Their name says it all. And I really like they own up to it.
